MacNeil, having been elected president of the Baptist World Alliance, as Mullins' successor, reported to Mullins, who was seriously ill, about the recent meetings, extends his and the Alliance's prayers for Mullins restoration to health, and asks if he may "burden [Mullins] with some correspondence" in which he can ask Mullins' advice.
